Introducing the self-erecting CLEVER CRANE

The CLEVER CRANE by Gelco is a new, revolutionary self-mounting crane which is covered by three international patents.
This unique new concept is ideal for all kinds of construction work where working space is limited and where narrow streets or any other kind of obstacle make it difficult to access sites.
The crane's compact size during transportation, thanks to its motorised chassis, allows it to squeeze into incredibly small spaces.
CLEVER CRANE features:

• Its motorised chassis with a four-stroke fuel engine allows the crane to move completely independently (1st international patent)
• Its third telescopic tower extends to a height of 14 to 30.5 metres, allowing the length of the crane to be reduced by about 25% during transportation and the operating height to be increased by 35% (2nd international patent);
its shorter dimensions allow it to pass through narrow streets which would normally be inaccessible to self-erecting or tower cranes
• The four telescopic legs allow us to position the crane wherever we want (even on slopes and steps) thus enabling pedestrian and vehicles to pass underneath the crane. The legs can be lifted indipendently one to each other (3rd international patent)
• Three inverters mean that progressive speeds can be reached on the three movements, depending on the load
• The mono-three-phase motors allow excellent lifting performance, at speeds of 0 to 46 m/min with a 3 kW monophase current or 9 kW three-phase current
• It can move independently on slopes with gradients of up to 25%
• Only one operator is needed to move the crane and to position it at the work site
• The motorised chassis can be used for other conventional tower cranes or self-erecting cranes
• The crane can be moved with the tower fully extended
• Public space tax savings can be made by raising the crane up on to its legs
